What does the Bible Mean?

My friend Ade and I talked and she shared a story with me. Her family was putting up Christmas decorations and her young nephew ran to his children’s Bible to find the directions on how to set up the tree. You see, he was taught that the acronym (letters of the B.I.B.L.E.) meant “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth” If you look up the definition of the Bible in the Merriam Webster Dictionary it wiill tell you that the Bible defined is the “sacred Christian scriptures of the Old and New Testament.

The book of the Bible basically consists of separate books of scriptures combined into one book. It was inspired by God and written by different authors. It truly gives you all instruction for teaching, correcting and training in right from wrong. It will help you build a relationship with God and know who Jesus is. Because of Jesus, we can live freely knowing our sins are truly forgiven when we ask and turn away from that which is morally wrong. The bible is the authority on the creation of the world, on how to have an abundant life, everlasting life , life after death. It also explains some of the mysteries of God, our Father, including his miracles, the power of prayer, and the requirement for gathering with other Christians.
